| Primary Construction & Frame Material | Acacia, Asian Hardwood, Engineered Wood, Solid Woods Acacia wood is used in furniture construction due to the strength in its dense grain and uniform texture. Grown around the world, acacia often features contrasting bands or streaks of colour to give each piece a unique look. Asian hardwood, also known as parawood or rubberwood, is one of the most durable and eco-friendly woods in the furniture market today. Once the tree's latex sap is collected for other industries, Asian hardwood is recycled into home furnishings. The dense grain makes it stable and strong, and the naturally light undertone accurately holds the intended stain colour. Engineered wood products are manufactured to maximize the natural strength and stamina of wood. High-performance, furniture-grade woods provide exceptional durability, stability and strength. This robust combination of materials ensures the longevity you require from your furniture. |
| Finish Method | Veneers By gluing a thin layer of beautiful wood or stone onto quality construction materials, veneers provide a striking texture and finish to furniture. Veneers won’t warp, crack or split over time, which keeps your products looking as good as the day you bought them. |
| Construction Method | Corner-Blocking, Kiln-Drying An extra block of wood is added to each corner of the furniture’s frame for additional support. Known as corner-blocking, this technique helps to brace your furniture for enduring stability. Kiln-drying removes most of the moisture from wood before furniture construction, preventing warping and splitting regardless of humidity changes. |
| Hardware | Pewter-toned bar-pull handles contrast with the wood finish. |

| Drawer Construction | English Dovetailing, French Dovetailing Dovetailing is a woodworking technique commonly used to put drawers together. Tight fitting dovetails resist the wood's natural tendency to twist and warp over time, meaning your drawers will remain functional for as long as you own them. A triangular groove is cut down the length of a board to allow the edge of a second board to slide in. The groove's triangular shape helps keep the pieces together under strain. |
| Drawer Glides | Side-Mounted Metal Ball-Bearing Situated on both sides of the drawer, these metal glides move smoothly thanks to ball bearings tucked inside each slide. These glides are strong, and will support even the heaviest junk drawer. |
